I am a freelance photojournalist based in Minnesota with a special interest in action and stories about the environment. 

I received a degree in journalism from the University of Oregon with concentrations in environmental studies and science communication.

I have work published by Washington Post, USA Today, Los Angeles Times, NCAA Photos, Getty Images, Associated Press, Wisconsin State Journal, Malheur Enterprise, Wisconsin Watch and more. I participated in Eddie Adams Workshop XXXVI and Missouri Photo Workshop, 75. I have received honors from Hearst, Milwaukee Press Club, Associated College Press, Sports Shooters Academy, Oregon Newspaper Publishers Association, University of Oregon School of Journalism and Communication and more.
